How to navigate through the Covid Crisis... Turn your GPS on!
During this dark season we may be facing extreme difficulty, uncertainty, anxiety and fear but friend I want to remind you today that we have someone greater than us to lead us through these uncharted waters and back to safety. His name is JESUS!
I was reminded of the Israelites and their journey from Egypt to the Promised Land, they faced obstacle after obstacle but with God as their captain they finally reached their desired destination. We see them confronted with the impossible time after time, but God made the impossible possible for them. From the Red Sea to the River Jordon to the Wall of Jericho, God made a way where there seems to be no way! Today as we journey through this storm I want to remind you that if you choose to use the greatest navigator of all time, the creator of the universe you are going to get to your destination safe and sound! How do you turn on your GPS? * G- Put GOD FIRST! * I don’t know about you but I’ve come to realize now more than ever that we cannot control our lives, it is only God that holds that control. Now is the time to put God first in all areas of your life. Matthew 6 v 33 "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these. things shall be added unto you." * G also stands for being GRATEFUL * As we navigate through these times remember your past victories and breakthroughs and thank God for them. When we have a grateful heart our negative thoughts change to positive thoughts and it causes us to be thankful in our current situation. Psalms 9 v 1 "I will give thanks to you Lord, with all my heart, I will tell of Your wonderful deeds." *P - Pray and Pour out your cry to the Lord! * Psalms 34 v 17-19 "The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them ALL." * S - Study the word of God! * Back in the day when GPS systems did not exist, one had to study a map to plan your route before you even started your journey, in the same way we have to go back to God’s word that will lead and direct our every step. Psalms 119 v 105 "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path." * GOD’S PROMISE TO US TODAY! * Isaiah 43 v 2
"When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you." * Don’t forget to turn on your GPS *
God Bless Cindy
